Two Years Ago & Today

As I look back on my mission, I think WOW time has flown so fast that it is crazy. I just remember when I first came out as a new missionary. I thought man this is going to take forever, 2 years that's a long time. But I can tell you that it went by so fast. When you are serving the Lord he makes time go by so fast.
I cant even explain what I feel right now, the only way I can really explain it is that it feels like a dream. But it has been one of the best dreams I will ever have in my life. For serving the Lord is a wonderful gift and blessing to do. To bring people closer to our Savior & Redeemer  Jesus Christ. I am thank full for the chance I had too serve him and to bring people the fullness of the gospel. What a great thing to do, to bring the world the truth. I wish that I could stay longer, but my time is finished and now it is time for me to go on and use this training that I got from my mission for the rest of my life.
Like I said I really wish I could stay here in Montana longer, but the Lord is pleased with me and now I must go home. But as I am preparing to return home, I will always remember the things that I learned here and what I became. For I have been changed, the Lord has made me who i am through this service that I did for him. And I thank Him for that.

Forgiveness: My Burden Was Made Light

Forgiveness is something that we all must do. For are Lord and Savior Jesus Christ came and he was crucified, and yet he forgave then for what they do. So we need to follow his example and become like him. We just need to come to him and ask him to help us to forgive the people that did us wrong. He will help you, just like what this guy in the video did. He is there and he will help you.

The Best Examlpe

You might wonder who might be the best person or the greatest hero ever. There is only one that i can think of and that is our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. He has done everything for us. And most of us don't even know him. It is sad so my goal is to tell you something about him and what he did for us.
          Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He can to rescue us from are selfs and from satin. What he did was remarkable for all man kind. What he did was that he made up the Atonement so that we can return to him and to are Father in heaven.
          What he did was that He surfed for are sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. Then He fished it by dieing for us on the cross. But it didn't stop there he was resurrected and lives today.

        For what he did for all of us, we need to know of him. Especially this wonderful time of year that we have to remember of his sacrifice that he did for all of us.  So that we wouldn't have to walk alone. What a great person for he is the greatest example that we can follow.  For Jesus Christ is my hero and my Friend and my brother. For i am grateful for what he did for me.

Cigarettes & Cow Manure

One day a ten-year old boy came to his father with a solemn face and said "All the boys at school have tried cigarettes but me. I want to try them too. All of my friends are trying them."
The father nodded his head slowly and thought for a moment. " Fine by me - but first, Bring a fork and a plate and come with me out to the barn." The boy did so, and the father put his arm around the his son and they walked out to the barn. Then he scooped up a pile of Cow manure on the plate and stuck the fork in it, offering the plate to his son.
"Why are you giving me a plate of manure? This is disgusting!" Said the son.
"Of course it is," replied the father. "In fact, there are no redeeming qualities to eating cow manure. It is not good for your health, it looks disgusting, and it's bound to make your breath smell very bad. But unlike cigarettes, it's not habit forming."
The boy understood his father's point and never tried cigarettes.

This story can help us understand why we need not to put things in are body. For are body is a temple of god. Lets all obey the Word of Wisdom

A Book With A Promise

The Book of Mormon is another testement of Jesus Christ. It is a ancient record of a people that lived in the Americas around 600 B.C. It talks about and tells us how Christ is are Savior. and Redeemer of the world. It, however does not talke away or add upon the bible.
The Book Of Mormon is here for all of us to learn and grow and to get closser to are Savior. You might ask, how this came to past. The Book of Mormon was translated by the power of God through the prophet Joseph Smith a mondern day prophet. He was commanded to translated and to restore the Gospel of Jesus Christ back on the earth. For the Gospel is back once angain. You can find out for yourself to know if the Book of Mormon is true and if the gospel is back today. If you read and pray about the Book of Mormon.
This book has a wonderful message. At the end of this book there is a prophet named Moroni. And he gives a promise at the end of the book.
It is in Moroni 10: 3-5, and it says;
"Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.
And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."
What a wonderful promise to recive if we have faith, asking with a sincere heart, and with real intent, that we will come to a knowlege of the truth by the power of the Holy Ghost. And we can ask God anything we want as long as we do those things that Moroni says.
I can testify to all that this Book Of Mormon is true and that you can also come to know for your self that it is true. For it is a wonderful book and we can recive so much from it.

The Lord Is My Light

When i think of this song, i think of the sun. When you look at the sun it is all nice and bright and I imagine that is how heaven is going to be like. One of my favorite parts in this song is the 3rd verse which says;
"The Lord is my light; the lord is my strengh. I know in his might I'll conquer at length. My weakness in mercy He covers with power and, walking by faith, I am blessed ever hour. "
The reason that i like this verse is because the Lord is always there for us. He has walk the path and he will never give up on us. So why give up on him...He will protect us, help us grow in are weakness. So that He can lead us back to home. For what more can I ask for in this life. To have a brother that has died for me and that will always be there for me. What a wonderful gift to have. It is the best gift ever.
For I know that He lives and guides me along my way. For He is the Only Begotten Son of the Father and He came to save us all. And He will come back one day. I love my Savior Jesus Christ and trying to be like him everyday.

How The Great Guest Came

Before the cathedral in grandeur rose
At Ingelburg where the Danube goes;
Before its forest of silver spire
Went airily up to the clouds and fires;
Before the oak had ready a beam,
While yet the arch was stone and dream --
There where the altar was later laid,
Conrad the cobbler, plied his trade.

It happened one day at the year's white end --
Two neighbors called in on their old-time friend;
And they found the shop, so meager and mean,
Made gay with a hundred boughs of green.
Conrad was stitching with face ashine,
But suddenly stopped as he twitched a twine:
"Old friends, good news! At dawn today,
As the cocks were scaring the night away,
The Lord appeared in a dream to me,
And said, `I am coming your Guest to be!'
So I've been busy with feet astir,
Strewing the floor with branches of fir.
The wall is washed and the shelf is shined,
And over the rafter the holly twined.
He comes today, and the table is spread
With milk and honey and wheaten bread."

His friends went home; and his face grew still
As he watched for the shadow across the sill.
He lived all the moments o'er and o'er,
When the Lord should enter the lowly door --
The knock, the call, the latch pulled up,
The lighted face, the offered cup.
He would wash the feet where the spikes had been,
He would kiss the hands where the nails went in,
And then at the last would sit with Him
And break the bread as the day grew dim.

While the cobbler mused there passed his pane
A beggar drenched by the driving rain.
He called him in from the stony street
And gave him shoes for his bruised feet.
The beggar went and there came a crone,
Her face with wrinkles of sorrow sown.
A bundle of faggots bowed her back,
And she was spent with the wrench and rack.
He gave her his loaf and steadied her load
As she took her way on the weary road.

Then to his door came a little child,
Lost and afraid in the world so wild,
In the big, dark world. Catching it up,
He gave it the milk in the waiting cup,
And led it home to its mother's arms,
Out of the reach of the world's alarms.

The day went down in the crimson west
And with it the hope of the blessed Guest,
And Conrad sighed as the world turned gray:
"Why is it, Lord, that your feet delay?
Did you forget that this was the day?"

Then soft in the silence a Voice he heard:
"Lift up your heart, for I have kept my word.
Three times I came to your friendly door;
Three times my shadow was on your floor.
I was the beggar with the bruised feet;
I was the woman you gave to eat;
I was the child on the homeless street!"

Answers to Prayers

We might have a hard time getting are answers from God. But in time he will answer us when we are ready. For it happen to me. This last week i was praying for something to happen. But it didn't come for a while. I was praying to know where i should go to school when i get back home. and it took all week for me to find out. And the Lord answered and told me to go to Wyoming for school. What a remarkable gift we have to receive are own personal revelation to know what the Lord wants us to do and he shows us the way if we only asked. There are no stupid questions to ask him, if it is your desire to know he will tell you what the answer is. Sometimes we wont like the answers that we receive but if we are faithful and do what he asks us to do he will bless us for following his will. For prayer is very important for all of us. He is are Heavenly Father and he wants to hear from all of us. For why not pray and ask him what we need. He knows all.

"Never A Better Hero" - Kenneth Cope

This is one of my favorite songs. It tells that Jesus Christ is the best HERO we can EVER HAVE. And i know that is a true statement. Because he came to save us all. And He will always be my hero, because he loved me so much to die for me and to take my sins in his hands. For he is "Never a Better Hero" I love him and i will always serve him no matter what he asks me to do. For we should always serve him.

The Race of Life

When i think of life a phrase comes in mind and that is Enduring to the End. When this pops in my mind, I think of a race that I am in. A race that makes you a better person. Now most races have points that make you tired or just want to stop. Like if you were racing in the mile, and came to the last lap and that is the point when alot of people are tired and just want to stop. But you have to keep going. The one thing that helps me the most is when i have people cheering for me and it makes me want to finish the race.

Now as we look at the race of are life. Now the race begins when we are born and everyday we need to keep striving to do the best we can. Now as I said about the race in the mile. There are points that come to are life that we need to watch for. Which are the times that we think that we can't make it or can't go on. But we can with the crowd cheering for us and helping us move to the end. Now the crowd can be are Family, Friends, and of course Jesus Christ. For they can all help us to get back. For they want us to do are best and to return to live with are Father in Heaven.

We all have the chance to return to are Heavenly Father , But it is up to us to make the choice to Finish the Race of Life.

I Want to be a Missionary

There was a time called the pre-existence where we lived with out Heavenly Father. We all danced, played, and sang together, and everything was beautiful and peaceful. Then Father had a beautiful world created in which we could live for a time. A great council was calle d and plans were made, accepted, and rejected to help us during outr stay on Earth. But there were those who weren't happy with the plans that were accepted and they were rebellious against the Father and were cast out. Thus, good and evil, love and hate, unity and division were born. Father decided that it was good to refine his children and try them to test their purity and quality, and he permitted the evil, rebel spirits to exist in the forms of temptations and other wordly things. Then Father started sending his obedient children to the Earth to live.

I was there in the pre-existence and saw it all happen. I had many, many close friends and one very, very dear friend whith whom I sang and played most often. Then one day, Father Called me and Said"___(Add Your Name)___, come here please and your friend also." I advanced with my friend by my side and Father said"___(Add Your Name) __, there's a package for you over there under that tree, go open it and see what it is. " He look at my friend and told him, pointing to the other tree, that there was a package there for him too. We ran to the trees as fast as we could. I found my package and eagerly ripped it open. Ther inside was a box and inside the box was a letter. I was overcome with joy when i discovered it was my call to go to Earth and that I was to be a member of a LDS family, people who knew the gospel of Jesus Christ and understood it. I ran to tell the glorious news to my friend. Upon reaching him, I blurted out the wonderful message I'd found in my package. Then i noticed something-he was crying and sad.

He stood and with tearful eyes and a sad heart, told me that he too had recevied his call to go to Earth, but that he was not going to a LDS family; he was not going to a family that kenw the true gospel of Jesus Christ. As the time came to leave for Earth, he lovingly put his arm around my shoulder and with a pleading voice said to me "____(Add Your Name)__, no matter where you are, no matter what you're doing, no matter where I am, no matter what I'm doing on Earth,  please find me. Please teach me the gosple of Jesus Christ and show me the pathway that leads back here to the presence of our Heavenly Father." I look him in the eyes , put my arm around his shoulder and said," I will, my friend, my brother (sister)." Father saw and heard, and was pleased.

Then we came to Earth.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE OF HEAVEN & HELL?

Here is a made up story that will explain in a way what the difference is;
There was this guy named Jake. He was sleeping one night and had a vision  that came to him. Now his vision was not like the ones that we think of. This one was different in a way.
The lord came to him and asked if he would like to see what heaven and hell was like. So the Lord takes him and he asks what he would like to see first. He said, I would like to see hell first to see why it is so bad. So they go and he goes and sees hell.
When they get there Jake started to look around, and what he finds is a big round table with a pot in the middle with food in it, and there is people sitting around the table. He asked the Lord why is it so bad here? Then the Lord answers him and says; Look some more and you will see...so he looks some more and he noticed something. Everyone is miserable. He has notice that everyone has a large spoon and when they get the food they cant put it in there mouths because there spoons are to big.
Then Jake tells the Lord that he doesn't like this place and that he is sad for the people here. So they go away. And Jake says that he would like to see Heaven now. So they go and when they get there he notice something.
He looks around and it is the same thing that he saw. So now he is confused and is wondering why it's the same. So he asked the Lord why is it the same here as was in hell. The Lord answers him and says look closer. So he does, and sees something different about it.
As he looks around and sees the big round table and all the people, with there big spoons. He notice that they are happy. But as he looks closer he sees that instead of the people trying to feed them self, they are helping each other and feeding there neighbors. By doing this they are not starving like the other people that were in hell. When Jake saw this it hit him that he needs to serve others. When he learned this lesson the Lord took him back and then he wake up, with the desire to serve his fellow man.
We can learn alot from this story, that we need to serve are fellow brothers and sisters to show them the way. As we saw that the people that were miserable were hungry and were just trying to help them self. The Lord wants us to serve are fellow men and wants us to return to him so we need to keep his commandments. And become as he is.

The good old times

Do you remember all those good old days when you were a child? It feels like it was just yesterday that i was home and learning and going to school. But some how time has gone by so fast. Why does time have to go by so fast...i think no one knows. But it does and we cant go back. So what a good gift we have to remember the things that we did in the past. They might have been good or bad things. As i look back in my life, i remember of the things that i did with my parents and family. All of the good times that we had together. But yet i remember when i did some bad things.
You might wonder why do we need to remember the bad days, why cant we just remember the Good Old Times. Well i am about to tell you...the reason why we need to remember the bad times is so that we would not do those things. And remember how hard they were. From those things that we remember have stories that we can tell our children and other people. For if we didnt go through those tough times then we wouldnt grow or learn from them.
So when you look back, remember the good old times that we had in this life. For the things that we learn in this life we will have that knowledge in the next life to come. So i don't know about you but i love the Good old Times that i had. We can all have stories and they will help us to teach others. We need to make sure that we wright down the things and stories that happened to us.
Just like the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ. He made a story. The best story that is true. That he came and did what none of us can ever do. It is a story of the greatest love of man kind. For we shall give him all are time and effort to help him and serve him. For a story like this should never be lost. For this is a wonderful story. I ask you all always think of him and you will have good times when you serve the Lord.

The Gift of the Holy Ghost

Jesus taught that we all must be Baptized by water and by the spirit. Baptism by water must be followed by baptism of the spirit. If not then it isn't complete. When we receive baptism and the gift of the Holy Ghost, then we can receive a remission of are sins and become spiritually reborn. When a person has been baptized by water, then one or two authorized priesthood holders lay their hands upon the person's head and confirm them a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Then they confer the gift of the Holy Ghost upon them.
We can always have the Holy Ghost with us as long we stay worthy of his presences. He will not stay in unclean places. The Holy Ghost does alot for us and here are the things he does;
1. He gives us cleansing effect.
2. Testifies of Christ and help us to know what is truth.
3. Gives us spiritual strength, also help us do what is right.
4. Comforts us during times of trials and of sorrow.
5. Warns us when there is physical and spiritual danger
6. Provides the power by wich we learn and grow.
The gift of the Holy Ghost is one of God's most precious gifts that he can give us. By the power of the Holy Ghost we can know and feel of God's love for us and direction. This gift that we can recive is a taste of eternal joy.
Without the authority of the Priesthood we wouldnt be able to have this wonderful gift. That authority is restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith and we can all enjoy this wonderful gift. For it was lost for centries but becasuse of the Restoration of the gosple  we can now all have that wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost.

Baptism Our First Covenant

Faith in Jesus Christ and repentance prepare us for baptism and confermation. These ordiances are really impotant to have, for they make us closser to our Savior. A ordiances is a sacred ceremany that shows that we have made a covenant with God. A covenant is a binding agreement between God and man. As we obey Him and keep His commandments He promises us that we will be blessed. Also as we do keep his commandments and follow his teachings we will be blessed in the life here after.
The covenants that we make when we are baptized are;
1.ALWAYS FOLLOW HIM
2. KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS
3. TAKE UPON OURSELEVES THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST.
Those are the three things that we covant or promise to do when we are baptized. As we do these things the Lord has promised us that we will recive the companianship of the Holy Ghost and we will have a remission of are sins.
Jesus taught that we need to be baptized by immersion for the remission of are sins. Why do we need to be baptized? We all need to be baptized because it is the only way that we can inter the Kingdom Of God. Also if christ himself had to be baptized then how much more do we need to be. For i know that baptizem is a true ordance and we all need to do it by the proper athority. For baptism is the only way and through Christ we can be saved.

The Gospel Of Jesus Christ Prt 2

Repentance is the second principle of the gospel.  Wen we love and have faith in Christ, we are lead to repent., or to change are ways and desires.  When we repent, we fell godly sorrow for what we did. Then we confess to the Lord of are sins. One of the best ways for me to remember the repentance proses is the A,B,C,D,& F of repenting.
First one A is Admit you did something wrong
Second; B is Be sorry
Third; C is confess
Forth; D is Don't do it again
the last on F is Forgive yourself or others.
As we follow this proses we will be forgiven of are sins, if we ask with faith and act upon it. And dont do it again. As we are forgiving of are sins are guilt will be gone and we will fell closer to the Savior. We will also feel the influence of the spirit stronger.
And the light of the Lord will make us feel a lot better. For I know that as we repent we will make us feel good and better for us. Just like the sun we will be able to have that light in us all the time.

THE GOSPLE OF JESUS CHRIST Prt 1

Faith in Jesus Christ is the first principle of His gospel. When we have faith in him we know that he is are savior and redeemer of the world. We trust in him that what he says is true and that he will watch over us.
Having faith in Jesus Christ means that we accept His Atonement and His teachings.In Alma 32:21 (in The Book Of Mormon). Alma says "Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." So we don't need to know all things to believe in him. For if we saw and know all things then we wouldn't never grow.
Faith is like a seed. You might ask why. For a seed needs water and nourishing in order to grow. Like the seed, we need to nourish our faith for it to grow. You might also ask how can we make it grow. Here is what you can do. Read your scriptures, pray, follow his commandments,etc. There is a lot of ways to make your faith grow. I know that faith is what we need to have in order to be forgiving of are sins. For Christ has made the way for us. All we need to do is trust in him and love him. Pray always to him and your faith will grow, just like the seed.

Infinite Power of Hope

We all need hope for hope leads us to Jesus Christ. When we have hope we in all things. As said in the video, the Lord takes away all the darkness and gives us his light. For he will always be there.
